Robert Westervelt, Chemical Week editor in chief, said, “The analysts and editors chose Mr. Zachert for CFO of the year because of his outstanding contribution to the chemical industry through vision and leadership, corporate reporting and performance, social responsibility, innovation and global competitiveness.”
Earlier in the day Mr. Zachert was the keynote presenter on the topic of Surviving and Thriving in Today’s Financial Turbulence. Mr. Zachert was appointed Chief Financial Officer of LANXESS AG in 2004.
