Burgh Bits & Bites Food Tour a Tasty Treat

Five members of the PTC staff attended the Burgh Bits & Bites Food Tour in order to experience Pittsburgh’s tastes and treats. The Bits & Bites tour takes you through six eateries in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, while paying homage to the heritage that built this section of downtown.

According to the Bits & Bites website, the tour lets you:

Discover how Pittsburgh’s Strip District has become known for its ethnic food shops, restaurants and nightlife. Taste delicious specialties from six food stops during this tour.

  • On-site bread bakery
  • Middle Eastern specialty shop and restaurant
  • Italian artisan biscotti bakery
  • European cheese & food specialty store
  • Northern Italian pastry shop
  • Baguette sandwich and pizza place

We loved our tour! The Bits & Bites tour is a great way to entertain out-of-town clients, or to reconnect with some of the city’s historic roots. Three of our tour-ees were native Pittsburghers and learned quite a bit from Sylvia’s tour. For more information or to schedule your own tour, call 412.901.7150, or complete the reservation form.
