Are you a business professional with an interest in arts and culture? The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council’s Business Volunteers for the Arts® strengthens the management of emerging and small non-profit arts and cultural organizations by placing business professionals as volunteer management consultants — with arts managers and their boards, on projects in financial and strategic planning, marketing, information technology and more. The Arts Council is looking for the best and brightest business professionals with a passion for arts and culture and a desire to volunteer their time to area non-profits.
BVA training takes place twice a year, with the next training session on November 15, 2008. This half-day orientation introduces you to the program, to arts leaders and to other BVAs.
