Tech Council Launches PghTech Women Network

Last night the Pittsburgh Technology Council held a launched its newest network, PghTech Women. We were delighted to be joined by nearly 100 female technology professionals at the Red Ring Restaurant on Forbes Avenue for an evening of collaboration, idea generation and connectivity.  Audrey Russo, President and CEO of the Council, kicked off the event and asked the group to share their energy and insights. Jordan Lloyd Bookey, Programs Manager, Global Diversity & Talent Inclusion for Google also spoke to the group and shared Google’s commitment and vision for the new network. PghTech Women was conceptualized by female thought leaders around the region with the vision for it to be a recognized leader in providing quality informational and networking opportunities to women in southwestern Pennsylvania’s technology sector. PghTech Women Network initiatives are currently in the design phase. This is only the beginning!  We received great feedback last night and would love to hear from you.  Please post a comment, take our survey and join our LinkedIn group.
