Business Opportunities with the National Aviary

aviaryThe Pittsburgh Technology Council is on a roll here! On the heels of the business-building engagement we’re rolling out with Phipps Conservatory’s Living Building (Read yesterday’s blog post right beneath this one.), yet another opportunity has taken flight with the National Aviary.

The Aviary is launching a $23 million expansion project which includes architectural renovations, interactive bird exhibits, classrooms, expanded bird hospital, Rooftop Raptor Encounter and FliteZone Theater addition. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Spring 2009 with completion expected in June 2010.

Council members are exclusively invited to attend a private information session, where the Aviary will reveal its plans and discuss ways your company can pitch your solutions and services to the Aviary for consideration in this expansion endeavor.

Aviary Project Information Session:

Monday, January 26, 2009
2 p.m.
National Aviary, Allegheny Commons West, 700 Arch Street, 15212
Aviary Atrium

This is a private invitation and seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register for this event, please contact our Events Team at 412.918.4229. For more information about this initiative, please contact Melissa Ungar, Director, Business Growth Services, at 412.918.4292.

This opportunity isn’t for the birds…ok…it IS for the birds, but it’s a great opportunity to showcase your company’s products and services to a national client.
