CERT Symposium Explores Security Issues in an Evolving World

certThe CERT Program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute, in collaboration with the School of Computer Science, CyLab and the Institute for Software Research, are holding the “2009 CERT Technical Symposium, Security Challenges in an Evolving World” on March 10-11.

Members of the Pittsburgh Technology Council are being offered a $100 discount on the event.

This symposium, which commemorates CERT’s 20th year of operation, brings together influential leaders from industry, government, and academia who will look toward the challenges the cybersecurity community will face in the future based on emerging computing models, evolving threats, and new potential vulnerabilities.
