Butler County Community College has been the lead community college in this project and will be opening its Associates Degree in Robotics Technology this Fall 2009. Other community colleges involved have been Westmoreland CCC, which will also be offering a similar degree this Fall, and the Community College of Beaver County which is supporting this effort but not offering a degree at this time.

CCAC has not been involved to this point, but has recently joined our group to begin a process of creating a robotics program, probably at their South Campus.

Community Colleges have been a critical partner in training a skilled workforce and are preparing people for future jobs that have not even been created yet. Wonderful challenge that we are meeting.
