Underwood Solar Future Selects Blue Archer to Manage Web Marketing

archer1Here’s some great news about Pittsburgh-based companies teaming up to promote “green” entrepreneurship. Give it a spin:

Underwood Solar Future LLC, a local start-up company whose project is funded through the Green Building Alliance’s JumpStart Assessment program, chose Blue Archer to design and manage their web marketing campaign. The company is looking to expand its solar panel installation efforts in Western PA, where it specializes in commercial installations.

“We’re looking to tap into this ‘moment’ in the world of green technology and grab people’s attention,” said Fred Underwood, the company’s owner, in a released statement. “By 2011 we will be adding residential contracts to our portfolio, and I believe that utilizing Blue Archer’s services will help us meet that goal.” While Underwood helps its clients construct sustainable energy habits, Green Building Alliance is working with Underwood to meet its objective of a sustainable business model. By providing referrals, funding, research, and educational opportunities for building professionals, GBA’s Green Building Products Initiative is helping Western PA to realize its potential as a leader in the green building products and services market.

“The Green Building Alliance has been full of resources for me,” said Underwood. “They’ve connected to so many key people and organizations – they’ve been vital to my company.” The new contract between Blue Archer and Underwood plans to make web marketing one more vital part of the start-up’s growth. Blue Archer plans to install its content management system, AccuCMS, within a custom website design for Underwood. The website will launch in the second quarter of 2009 and will be found at www.underwoodsolarfuture.com/. “

The Green Building Alliance recommended Blue Archer for a reason,” Underwood said. “I believe that Blue Archer will truly impress every visitor to our website.”
