The upcoming G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh on September 24-25, 2009 is an unprecedented opportunity to showcase the ‘new America’ to the leaders of the world economy. Pittsburgh today is a model for economic and environmental transformation in the United States and elsewhere.
The clock is ticking, and it’s time to get to work. The region has a long and successful history of public-private partnerships in Pittsburgh. Together, we’re building another to get ready for the G-20. There’s a call to Pittsburgh-area businesses, foundations, health care, cultural, educational and hospitality institutions to contribute their resources to welcome the world.
