The Technology Collaborative (TTC), a statewide economic development organization that supports the growth of Pennsylvania’s world-class robotics, cyber-security and digital technologies industries, announced its most recent round of funding. In total, $1.5 million has been awarded to 10 organizations across Pennsylvania: eight from the Pittsburgh region, including a joint company-university project, another from State College, and one from Rector. On average each project will also be contributing $136K of matching funds towards their development.

“For this solicitation we received a bumper crop of 39 technology development proposals from across the Commonwealth. Our Tech Commercialization Advisory Board (TCAB), which includes representatives from all of our member companies and universities, did a good job of selecting projects having high levels of commercial potential and technical innovation – no easy task with so many proposals,” said Chuck Brandt, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of TTC.
